April 3, 2016 - Second night. Drinking *after* homemade jerk rubbed chicken. Wine is deep red with great mouth feel and strong tannins. Dark fruit, maybe a touch bitter in the finish, but delicious to my taste. It was much more subdued the first night. So a good decant will help. I also think this will last a while longer. I think I have 2 more but I miss labeled them after buying them in the winery.

    Overall it's a tasty treat,
    Paired with homemade pasta.

October 4, 2011 - Drinking very well now, especially after an hour or so of decant time. Deep red color with nice aromas of vanilla and cherry. Soft, well-balanced tannins lead to a smooth finish.

October 1, 2011 - I agree with others that it was quite oak-y. I liked it, but I was hoping for more.

March 21, 2011 - very delicious and drinking well now with black cherry, plum and black berry flavors, balanced acidity and significant oak. Like to know what was blended with the sangiovese; it obviously tamed the acidity normally found in this grape.
