October 6, 2012 - 14.5% - Clear, light ruby / clean, med intensity - dark cherries, cola, toasted oak (that blows off after a few minutes), some cinnamon, light minerality / dry, med+ acidity, med body, low silky tannin, med intensity, med+ length. All in finesse and very elegant and superbly balanced for such a high alcohol level.

September 21, 2012 - PnP, consumed over 3 hours. What's that? A little funk on a Sokol bottle...I like that. Strawberry / cherry, funk, earthy...long finish. If this is indicative for the '07 vintage, sign me up. Double shitty Mr. Wood.

October 29, 2011 - Popped and vinturi'd drinking from Riedel Oregon pinot stems. This is what Oregon pinot noir is all about. Aromas of cherry and an earthy funk, that let's you know it's from Oregon and specifically the Dundee Hills. Really appealing aromas w/a supple, refined and elegant, flavor profile of raspberry, cherry and mocha that gently come on and on... The frosting on the cake, so to speak, is these are organic grapes, and all buildings on the property are LEED certified. These folks have been making pn since the early 70's, tremendous effort in a challenging vintage. A delicious wine which captures the elegance, grace and depth of pinot noir.

March 16, 2011 - Despite the Willamette's difficult season in 2007, this is both earthier and brighter than the '08 Dundee Hills tasted immediately prior, with more forward cherry. The nod nonetheless goes to the Dundee Hills.

April 18, 2010 - Dundee Hills Passport Weekend; 4/17/2010-4/18/2010 (Dundee Hills Oregon): The nose shows dark cherry and barnyard notes. It shows some wonderful cherry flavors on the palate. The fruit is ripe and delicious through the whole experience. The structure is on the firm side, and the finish contains hints of sweet cherry. A little bit of rhubarb shows up on the mid palate as well.
