September 10, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Dessert wine with the cheese. Sweet, rich, floral, honey suckle, off dry, It smelled halfway between a Riesling or a floral Mouscat. Too sweetish for me, I clearly prefer the JJ Prum style.

January 25, 2020 - F.X. Pichler Riesling Unendlich full vertical (1998-2017) (Restaurant Waldhorn, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Gabriel Standard
Opened about 1h before drinking, not decanted.
Clear, medium amber color. Clean, medium intense, smoky nose with some nice ripe citrus and apricot notes. Fragrant and beautiful.
On the palate really fresh and young, typical pressure and tension, clean botrytis, zesty orange notes. Very long. Has at least 5+ years. 93-94

November 30, 2019 - Very fragrant and rich nose of apricot, tropical fruit, minerals, and citrus. Guava, orange peel, more tropical fruit, and slight bitterness on the palate. There is a hint of sweetness, but it could just be the wine’s rich texture. Very long finish. What an amazing wine, this is in a perfect place right now! Along the rest of the wines, this was a 96, by its own, this may be higher...

March 27, 2018 - Cellartracker in the flesh with Stefan, Mats & Tomas (L'Effervescence, Tokyo, Japan): Honey, cornucopia of fruit, cream, sweet spice and touches of ginger…juicy but I find this a touch linear. Hmm. I called German Riesling, possibly Mosel, 2002

April 4, 2017 - A very good Riesling. A balanced wine, but doesn't provide this tension and pressure, the mineral depth that I was expecting. In parallel I drank a 2002 Riesling Schütt from Knoll. There's clearly more action, more minerality, more focus and complexity as well as a wonderful acidity. All this provides the "Unendlich" not of the same quality. Nevertheless its a good balanced Riesling with purenesse, good fruit and a medium finish.
