February 1, 2011 - Well.... I guess I'll chock my impression up to utter lack of sophistication or sensitivity to nuance on my own part. To me this SB was balanced, unoffensive, and more or less unremarkable and unmemorable. It was - very slightly - recognizable as an SB. It did have a pretty good mouth feel and nice finish; I'll say I'd drink it any time it was offered and that it would go well with food. I wouldnt pay 20 bucks for it again.

then again I like (*gasp*) oak-ey chardonnay, overlarge plates of fajitas, and ABBA. so there you go.

January 25, 2011 - Really pleasing, fresh, old-world style -- hit of the evening (among other whites). Evolved in the bottle - notes of citrus (pineapple, pear and apple) and honey, but not too bold. I appreciate an in-your-face Marlborough sauv blanc, but I also appreciate sublety.

May 24, 2010 - One of my favorite domestic whites. Ripping acidity. Fresh citrus notes both on the nose and in the mouth. Delicious. Easy 90+

(Ardenvoir Sauvignon Blanc Columbia Valley) Pale yellow. A gorgeous nose with light spices and lemon zest aromas. Very clean on the palate with a very French-styled feel.
