November 10, 2019 - Pop and pour; consumed with a big T-bone, over about four hours. The bottle that is, the steak only lasted about 20 minutes. Initially tight but really opened up within an hour or so. Really classic expression of well made Napa cab from an historic vineyard. I bought a lot of Wolf estate cab in the early to mid 2000’s, and they’ve all held up and drunk very nicely. They still have a few years in them but they’re drinking well now.

June 10, 2018 - Wow. Still has some tannins but soft and delicious. Taste better after opening up. Great blackberry depth.

March 29, 2010 - Novoino's 4th annual portfolio tasting (Park Hyatt Hotel, Chicago IL): nose: plush and stylish nose filled with tones of cedar, dark red cherries, spice tones, red and black currants, dark red fruits and sour cranberries. The nose is a bit tight but very complex with good depth

taste: full bodied with chewy tannins. Excellent depth and polished tones of cedar, dark red cherries, red currants, sour cranberries and a touch of dark red fruits. Complex as well on the palate with excellent depth, but the tannins are kicking right now

overall: this could really be something with some age. The depth and class are there already, now the tannins just need to recede a bit and let the wine shine
