August 19, 2013 - Been way to long between bottles of this superb wine. Opened and decanted 1 hour prior and the wine soared. Light, crystal clear translucent red hue with a spicy bouquet, peppery palate and soft, elegant and lengthy finish. A wine with soul!

July 10, 2012 - High-toned nose and a slight sulphur rang. Underneath is some light floral aromas. Delicate yet well balanced with sweet and sour cherry fruit that gains more weight on the palate to a spicy finish.

February 19, 2012 - A beauty now with a translucent red/orange color. A subtle, soft nose of orange peel, flowers, pretty red fruit and dirt. On the palate, the fruit is slightly bitter, yet delicate and refined, there are plenty of flavors from the soil (STGT) and the tannins, softer than a year ago, are marked. A great wine and one that will live on for years. Sadly this was my last bottle. Very distinct, fantastic wine.

May 9, 2011 - An interesting orange/pink color. Plenty of upper register red fruit like tart cherries and strawbery patch, herbs, minerals and little bit of a floral element on the nose. Light-medium bodied, but with firmer tannins than expected. Fresh and juicy acidity moves the tart cherry, pomegranite and mineral tones on the palate. Very good length and overall a very good wine that is so interesting and keeps you coming back to drink more. Went very nicely with braised rabbit legs, farro, mushrooms and kale.

July 26, 2010 - Wonderful wine. An elegant, pure light wine that was the perfect match for homemade chicken soup and eggplant parmigiano.
