September 17, 2012 - Lemon, lychee, pineapple aroma.
Lemon and floral flavor, with slightly oily vanilla base.
Medium acid with long, crisp finish.

A truly interesting, complex and lovely wine. Delish with seafood pasta, or even a mustard-crusted pork loin. Would also hold well with a cheese plate.

April 29, 2011 - Compared to the prototypical Oregon Pinot Gris, this one may be a little more brisk and one dimensional. We expect them to be sharp and well defined, and this is no exception to that, but may be a little lacking in the fruit department. This one probably is a touch less complex and more acidic. It makes your mouth pucker pretty bad, as the acid raises straight to the top of the mouth, leading me to believe it lacks some of the structure necessary to hold it together deeper into the palate. I don't think there is any malolactic fermentation. Completely stainless. More high handed acid on the finish.

September 4, 2010 - First Pinot Gris. Nothing to compare against. Not much nose. Hint of lemon.Low acid on the palette, lemon, some spice.Did not feel dry. Good balance. Decent finish.Again first Pinot Gris so I can't compare to others.
I guess for the price not bad.

August 6, 2010 - Not usually a pinot gris fan, I ordered "Acrobat" (by the glass) as the chef recommendation, with a shrug. Really liked the wine. Came home and found it was King Estate, with a nod: I had been impressed previously with King Estate PG Signature. I did not take notes except to note my contentment, how well Acrobat went with my halibut, and to buy for my cellar.

July 2, 2010 - Decent, understated pinot gris. Hints of citrus and medium acidity. Slightly bitter finish. Good wine for the value but not a truly memorable Oregon pinot gris.
