  January 8, 2023 - Delayed entry.... Wow! This is delicious! Remains youthful and fresh! Nose of black berry, roasted game, damp forest. Very nice mouthfeel and finish. Very rhone-like in character and quality.

  December 30, 2021 - This is my December (and final) bottle in the Washington Wine Report 2021 WA Syrah Challenge. Popped and slow ox in the bottle for 2 hours. Wow...I've had previous bottles of Grand Reve Collaboration wines, but this is something else! Super rich, full body, amazing fruit (blackberry, fig and plum) with vanilla and oak, chalky tannin and mocha on the finish. I can't get past the rich texture of this wine. While the midpalate is a little flat, the attack and finish are outstanding! Drink now - 2026.

  March 24, 2017 - Delicious wine with nice complexity, mouth feel. Enjoyed at Travis Allen's get together in Seattle-- had so many wines the tasting notes are poor.

  October 4, 2014 - Good but not great. Actually I'm not convinced this is better than their regular Syrah. More on the elegant and light side, quite nice with some food though.
