November 8, 2023 - Nice nose, no barnyard. Medium body. Tannins are still fairly gripping, nice fruit, medium finish.

November 11, 2022 - Dark red. Cooked fruit nose. Medium body with acid and tannic bite, persistent fruit. A lot of wood, almost like a Rioja. Overall, still pretty youthful. Enjoyable.

August 14, 2021 - Drinking very nicely, with dark cherry, tobacco, spice and earth flavors, smooth texture.

September 6, 2020 - A good nose of black cherries, cigar and wet forest floor. Medium weight body of red, more than black fruits. Slightly funky tannins on the finish.

January 6, 2020 - Holiday Parties 2019 (Dogwood Grove, Arlington, VA): Refined and elegant, offering up a floral nose and notions of black cherry and blackberries on the palate with sophisticated hints of espresso roast and toasty oak. Medium bodied with a lovely texture. Another one that disappeared before any significant development in the glass could occur.
