March 10, 2022 - Fonseca VP Vertical: Simple cherry fruit but the alcohol is dominating a bit. It seems to be fairly evolved but also open for consumption.
Lovely wine but for me the alcohol-feel was too much. -

January 27, 2022 - Very deep red and initially quite elegant and yet rich. After a couple of days became more complex but after that dulled down very quickly and became one dimensional illustrating why the price of the wine is what it is. Perfectly enjoyable but not sure that much better than the Bin 27 in terms of depth.

April 25, 2020 - Very good wine.
After a long and hard battle with the cork, I finally managed to open it.
I decanted it and poored it into a bowl for 1,5 hour, because it was quite strong to begin with.
But it opened beautifully later on with a very round taste of berries and a touch of liquerice. -

March 25, 2020 - Note I'm no port expert - enjoying this drink. Easy to drink, no harshness or any real contention with it at all. Looking forward to learning more about port, but absolutely great value for money to my inexperienced eye
