January 6, 2017 - I'm catching a wine at its peak here, and I am super thrilled: nose is minty, blackberry and white pepper, and while the taste keeps the mint and blackberry it adds an element of spice before turning smooth on the mid-palate with just a touch of gritty tannins and piquant-spice on the finish. Another year or two and it would still be fine, but this was a shear delight.

July 13, 2016 - je suis étonné comme ce vin s'est bonifié du moins je supose, puisque je n'ai aucune référence à une dégustation antérieure.
Du fruit noir bien mure, framboise noire, mure sans sucrosité excessive. C'est croquant, tanins moyens et intégrés. Persistance moyenne sur fruit noisette.
La note tient compte du prix. -

August 30, 2015 - Holding up very well. Lost (some of) its up front , in your face, primary fruit focus. Gained some balance, allowing depth and complexity to shine through. Good for at least couple years. Enjoyed this very much.

December 7, 2013 - Color was opaque purple with leather, violet and pepper on the nose. In the mouth it was very fruit forward with lovely spicy notes bright aciditiy to temper the fruit, but still tight on the finish. Was much better the second night, opened up to be more floral on the nose, and softer on the finish. I think it has another year or two to reach it's peak. Lovely.

July 6, 2013 - Very big wine. Dense, highly concentrated, tons of fruit and oak as well. A big bruiser, well made. Liked it a lot, but probably not the best choice for a sweltering summer evening! Tons of fruit, not loads of acidity though.
