June 16, 2018 - Tasted next to 2015. Nicely evolved on the nose, notes of cedar, spices, tobacco. Rather soft on the palate, not much grip, decent acidity, a bit simple but well balanced. Drink (or keep). 88-90

April 27, 2014 - Commanderie de Bordeaux tasting/dinner. Medium garnet. Nose of dark fruit with some forresty tones. Soft and mature to drink. Lacking a bit of depth and mid palate strength.

Deep ruby in color, Flowery nose, toasted herbs! Smooth on the palate with mouthful of red fruits, at this point, this is less tannic than vintage 2009

July 1, 2009 - 08 Château Dassault is made in a light, early drinking style of St. Emilion. The medium bodied wine expresses fresh berries with a touch of oak, finishing with a pleasing kirsch note. 87-89 Pts

June 1, 2009 - Bordeaux 2008 (Bordeaux): Rich blackberry and cherry nose. Nice nose indeed. Palate does not quite deliver the promise of the nose, but is certainly tasty and full-bodied with perhaps just some drying tannins on the finish. 88-91+
