July 1, 2022 - Untouched in my cellar since 9/29/12. Opened and poured thru Vinturi. Dark in the glass, nice barnyard, damp forest floor, and spice on the nose. Smooth red fruit on the palate. So glad to have 5 more from the six from wineaccess.com in20212

January 23, 2022 - Barnyard, glassy funk nose. Ruby red hue. Medium bodied, red fruit, cherry tart, slight eucalyptus. Surprising tasting CdP-- not that deep complex juice. Enjoyed once nose wafted.

March 2, 2021 - Great nose with a bit of barnyard, some forest, and some earth. Nice dark fruit, nicely balanced, with a soft texture. This is subtle and still very good.

May 9, 2020 - Pop and pour, this needed about 15 minutes air time in the glass for the fruit to come out and for it to resolve. After that, there is a wonderful garrigue and herbal nose. Soft red fruit. My wife couldn't identify this wine and thought it might be a bigger pinot noir. I would not have pegged it for a CDP blind either, which is interesting because my note from 2016 says "standard middle of the road CDP", which this clearly is not today. 92-93

July 13, 2019 - Form 375ml bottle. Interesting mature nose of blackberries with earthy notes. Similar on the palate. Well integrated, in prime drinking window now. Enjoyable elegant and smooth finish.

May 10, 2019 - Decanted and enjoyed with truffle and mushroom pizza. Smooth and lovely. All the components are there and well integrated. This is about as good as this wine will get. Drink up!

September 14, 2018 - Poured through a vinturi aerator into a decanter then decanted for two hours. This created a wafting aroma of freshly made blackberry jam and blueberry pie. This wine was inky purple/black in hue. Lush and big on the palate bursting with dark fruit, spices and wet stones on the finish. This is a fun wine in a great place right now. 92-93 points as it continued to improve as the night went on. My buddy Joe loved this wine.

September 6, 2017 - Pretty much mirrors my last experience with this wine about five years ago, except maybe a bit calmed down. I wouldn't say it's evolved all that much, so I think I actually liked it a little better in its slightly more assertive state last time around. But if you have some of these, I'd let them rest because I think this will eventually age into something more complex.

August 14, 2017 - This just keeps getting better. An apealing balance between muscle and finesse. A nice accompaniment to sushi.
