Fresh and soft tannins. Balanced and a real pleasure to drink.
Still has years to go but drinking well now.
August 20, 2021 - It has the length to go the next 5 or more years.
May 11, 2019 - Full bodied and intense. I think it has some time yet before it reaches optimal. Dark berry and chocolate flavours. Tannins reasonably subdued
The wine looks inky colored.
October 17, 2015 - Still big and awesome! Needs time to open up, can drink now or can last a few more years for sure.

Palate full bodied rich and fruity blackberry, fine grain tannins , crisp acidity and long dry finish 39/44

Appearance: some sediment, long legs, dark, mild rim transparency 5/5
Nose: spicy, dark berries, a little mint, mustiness, cedar, cassis, some alcohol 12/15
Mouth: tannins full bodied, dry, spicy, a little chewy 17/20
finish: long, slight bitter, meaty 7/10
Notes: Some haminess on the front of my teeth
Taster Two: 89/100
Appearance: Inky, good colour, good legs 5/5
Nose: licorice, acetone, plum, berries, cider, dried apricot. Intense. 12/15
Mouth: slightly up front tannin, smooth, slightly tangy 15/20
Finish: Long, Chewy 7/10
Notes: Not as good as previous bottle.
January 30, 2011 - A very refined well made wine, not a complex profile at the moment but after a 1.5 hours it really started to a lot more.
