October 21, 2022 - Absolutely fully mature with tertiary flavors of dark spices and Pauillac dirt. Soft and smooth on the finish and avoids the harsh finish of most '75's. Drink up!

May 25, 2022 - Love it as I did from this 4.5L jeroboam opened (and since stored in an airtight, spigoted plastic bladder) 7 weeks ago! As bottled in this format, the wine could stay at this beautiful stage for years to come.

April 23, 2022 - From jeroboam (then 4.5L in Bordeaux, 5.0L since 1978). Originally opened 19 days ago (without CT notes), the balnce transferred into 3L spigoted plastic bag and "burped" to virtually air-free. Another absolutely stunning showing, minor cedar and cigar box notes taking a backseat to the abundant soft dark cherry fruit. ZERO signs of tiredness. A lovely thing.

May 30, 2021 - A 65th Birthday Celebration, Slightly COVID Delayed (EL Ideas - Chicago IL): Small glass, brief note. Great nose combines spice, tobacco, black truffles, and black plum. Mature aromas, but fully+ mature flavors are slightly less thrilling. 93 point nose, 87 point palate.
