June 11, 2021 - Dark fruit (cherry, blackberry), spice, herb, brooding. Some tannins. Good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

January 23, 2017 - Camphor on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, blackberry, and plum, with some herbal notes on the medium finish. The tannins have been almost completely absorbed, and this had a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle. This is not a great wine, but it's a decent value at under $25 all in.

December 17, 2010 - This was all tannins. Big, rustic and biting with little fruit. It was just what I was looking for with our Christmas steak dinner. Sarah, however, hated it and happily switched to diet coke.
