April 5, 2024 - With FC and AW at Vivat Bacchus. This is quite mature on the nose with dark fruit, black olive, balsamic notes. Becoming more balsamic quite quickly. Full bodied, dark fruit, quite rich but has lost the full on nature it had in its younger days, balsamic notes, touch of heat, medium/good length finish. Just about hanging on but drink up.

January 13, 2024 - Right in stride – classic Brunello at the top of its drinking window now.

April 18, 2023 - Drink dont hold. Past by years, at least this bottle from Auction. Still consumed and most still enjoyed but vastly overshadowed by a 2004 of same wine. NR due to uncertainty of storage history

June 23, 2022 - Great maturity showing dark cherry fruit with a mix of sewer and barnyard and only a slight touch of oak. Very refreshing and the tannins are polished and refined.
Absolutely stunning right now and certainly at its peak!

April 4, 2021 - My final bottle. Decanted 2 plus hours. Have drunk most of the bottles I have of this vintage over last couple of years. Been quite consistent. A decent performer but definitely in its later stages or rewarding drinking
