March 20, 2020 - Standing up well, even on the second night. Got 2+ years of good-ish drinking left, but it won't get better.

August 5, 2015 - Still travelling along nicely, just a little boring. Hard to be upset at the value but wonder whether this may have been better without the Viognier.

August 29, 2013 - Discrete nose of leather prunes and alcohol. Mouth hot, well structured, with spirit prunes and good tannins. A bit unbalanced on spirit, cooked fruits; demonstrative, and finally to short. Good overall.

December 15, 2012 - Yes, ready to drink, but fine tannins strong supporting further cellaring. Sweet Black- and Red-currant on palate with reasonable savoury element. 'Good-ish' wine.

October 19, 2012 - How good is it to see a shiraz with nice depth and structure at 13% alcohol, rare these days. Medium weight, lovely lifted and perfumed nose. Bright red fruit flavours, streaky bacon, five spice. Very fine tannins and overall lovely balance.

October 22, 2011 - Ready to drink, typically new world Shiraz but the the better end of Aussie range. Rich, warm alcohol, dark ink, sweet with a ripe tannin. Feels like a quality produce, like a Jag made in Aus, could they do that?

July 22, 2011 - Bright ruby hue, initial aromatics show cherries, spice, cinnamon and floral. Palate is fresh with great balance and quite a complex array of flavors which mirror the aromatics. Medium bodied with very fine grained but ripe tannins and unobtrusive oak. Cool climate flavor profile but not peppery. Great value, very generous and should age reasonably well but not long term.
