January 18, 2015 - Delicious. Nice nose right out of the bottle. Dark, wild fruit flavors lead to a blue cheese finish.

February 12, 2014 - This drank better than my last bottle and more like what I remember. Nice lively fruit that is still bright with fine tannins and a satisfying finish. Raspberry, cherry, and some chocolate highlights.

May 18, 2012 - Bright red fruits, but some depth here, chalky and a big menthol note that adds a lightness to it. Good value

May 25, 2011 - On day one the nose is chalky with red fruit, light cedar and pepper with a tart pie cherry, raspberry and rhubarb palate with a dry chalky cherry pit finish. The sangiovese in the blend really seems to dominate.

Day two the merlot comes forward with rich currant dark fruit pepper and cocoa on the nose. The palate is lush with currant black cherry and a bit of baking spice.

Day three is the best with currant, chalk, pepper and coffee on the nose with a palate of currant, baking spices that leads into a finish of black cherry, cocoa and spices.

December 26, 2010 - A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied blend, black currants, blackberry, cherry, some chocolate, a bit disjointed on the finish.
