January 22, 2013 - A bottle that slipped by my review and spent too much time in my cellar. Still, the wine was pleasant with food, smooth, slight fruit, with a bit of earthy provence herbs. However, it's finish was weak, as if the wine was spent, not the raw, muscular finish I remember enjoying. A good value, but I waited too long.

January 18, 2012 - This wine is well anticipated from the reviews and the fact it is imported by Kermit Lynch. It has a bright cherry-raspberry nose with some green briar tones. The taste enters soft with some spice and herbs. A gradual expansion is followed by a sharp end. Overall good and varietal.

August 23, 2011 - I found this to be spicier and greener than expected. Also, I didn't quite expect as much heat as I got from it for must 13.5% abv. If I'd not expected something different, I may have enjoyed it more, as it's not a bad wine. I'd suggest giving it a little time to open up before drinking.

November 21, 2010 - DAY 2, fresh red raspberry fruit aromas in the nose. a very lively and fresh nose of southern france. a green tickle in the nose to keeps this dancing. a forest breath in the back ground. palate confirms the herbaceous liveliness. i had forgotten about this wine. very much the flavor of hubba bubba raspberry gum. spiced raspberry the way luxardo maraschino liqueur is spice cherry. mmmmmm.

November 4, 2010 - Big wine with lots of cassis and crushed berries on the nose. Beautiful tannins and structure to this wine. Lots of blue berries and raspberries infused with some spice. Enjoyable and a QPR at the price point.

May 30, 2010 - Nose was pepper, then bacon fat, then white pepper, then floral. decent mid palate, no back palate. Finish was alright.

My wife said it was uneventful and I would agree...did I drink too early?

April 16, 2010 - Perfume - sweet perfume. Strawberry jam, violet/rose, tart yogurt? (I know it's a stretch, but I'm grasping here...). This is beautiful stuff - poetry in a bottle. So gentle and sweet, yet full of power. Not to be ignored. I love wines like this. Complex, graceful, sexy, alluring. Totally feminine. Totally irresistible.
