September 11, 2015 - Definitely showing some age. Looking a dusty red now. Nose is dark cherry cola, fruit going jammy. Full bodied, long wide finish.

August 3, 2014 - More red than purple now. Nose is cherry and spice. The palate is quite full bodied, savoury, a little spicy. Medium bodied, medium length but it certainly fills the mouth. Think it's right in its drinking window now.

Definitely a new world Pinot. Almost purplish in color. Quite expressive on the nose of sweet red and dark cherry intermixed with spices such as anise and herbs. Quite a polished wine with sweet entry that showing lots of ripe cherry fruits. It was very good until the mid palate which kick in with some really harsh mineral that is toward metallic, some ripe acidity and soft texture with rubbery, med finish with some alcoholic heat. According to my friend who tasted the same wine in cellar door, it was a very nice, quafferable Pinot that seems completely different with this bottle. In awkward stage? Buy - No.

December 4, 2010 - A Morning of Informal Tastings (Lam Soon): Extremely translucent even for a Pinot. The pure pinot flavor of strawberries and cherries lies on a very light-bodied palate with just a tinge of herbs and spice in the background. Not overly sweet for a new world pinot. I would say this wine is pretty simple but with freshness and balance to keep it interesting (and immensely drinkable). I would imagine this like a pre-school children's story book.

June 28, 2010 - Pale red. red cherry and strawberry. Floral with pleasant green tea like nose. Tangy and citrus pith and tart red cherry. Nutmeg spice . Somewhat simple but well balanced.

June 13, 2010 - Vibrant, ripe cherry fruits abound on the nose. In the mouth it’s fresh, juicy and nicely textured. It is a delicious, fruit driven Pinot Noir that seems to disappear in record time.
