September 16, 2020 - Still drinking well after proper storage. Deep garnet colour, red fruit on the nose, licorice and plum with medium finish.

November 18, 2012 - Better the second time. This wine, though, needs a lot of air time. Straight from the bottle, it has an odd taste and aroma, almost musty. The longer it decants the more the musty flavour dissipates, and the smoothness of the wine comes out. We decanted 3+ hours in a decanter and then for a bit in the glass and finally it came into its own.

May 19, 2012 - Earthy aroma, some minerality but short finish. Continued to improve the longer it breathed. Needs about 2 hours decanting to open up. Suspect it needs more time in the cellar. A bit underwhelming
