May 10, 2011 - A fruity merlot that was a bit thin when it came to the dinner, but did well enough on its own. Had just enough of that earthiness that makes a characteristic merlot.

February 9, 2011 - cherry and tobacco. I really like this wine at this price point.

September 10, 2010 - Had at dinner while at Hotel Colorado. Paired with excellent red curry chicken soup, Hotel Colorado salad and trout. The wine tasted like it may have been kept out, it was a bit flat, so it may not have been at its best. The flavor was quite mild, certainly so for a Merlot. Very little aftertaste. The aroma was hardly present, so no associations from the smell. The taste was mild but not very strong. No real associations with anything other than a very weak Merlot. From wine-searcher this was about a $9/bottle wine. The restaurant charge was $9
