July 9, 2022 - Ripe cherries, leather, pencil lead shavings, violets and sweet spices. Excellent and seductive perfume. Very concentrated, young and beautiful. Tannins are still grippy, acidity at the right point. Just enters accessibility phase and will be brilliant in 5 years.
April 9, 2021 - Acetone and cherry on the nose. Dust, lead pencil on the palate. Amazing, drink now or wait 5 years.

June 12, 2015 - Tog med detta till kvällens blindprovning och var livrädd att det skulle vara på tok för ungt och inte visa upp sig alls och tyvärr hade jag rätt.
Självklart känner man att detta är ett enormt elegant vin och det är tydligt var viner kommer ifrån det går inte att ta miste på att detta är ett stort gajavin men det är så inkapslat att det enda rätta är att låta de flaskor man har kvar ligga ett bra tag till

Dust, expensive oak, cedar, pencil lead, cherries and some Piemonte acetone.
On the palate this is quite ripe and soft, with silky tannins, cherries, sweet tobacco leafs, licorice and spices.
Very young.

On the palate, licorice, tar, violets. There will be more to come with some more age. But stil avery nice and elegant palate that hangs around for ages.

This wine will grow and grow very much. But for now hide the key.
December 21, 2013 - I do not taste a lot of Italian wines. But this is clearly one of the best Italian wines I've ever tasted! This has the right amount of everything. The complex nose, with its stone, tobacco, cassis, blackberry, earth and spicy character is stunning. On the palate, the wine coats your taste buds with its richly textured, layers of fat, juicy, intense, ripe and flavor packed berries. Served blind, I was knocked out.
