綺麗なエッジが、良く熟成されていることを認識させてくれる。
スケール感も大きく余韻も長い。
味のバランス感覚にフランスらしさも感じるが、根幹に感じる明るい果実味にはやはりアメリカらしさを強く感じる。
(2000年後半という時代性もあるかも)
One of the best Cabernet Sauvignons in California.
The clean edges of this wine make you realize that it has aged well.
It has a great sense of scale and a long finish.
The balance of the flavor has a French feel to it, but the bright fruitiness at the core of the wine is strongly American.
(This may be due to the fact that it was made in the latter half of the year 2000.)

Surprisingly still has some tannins and very nice acid fruit balance at this age

December 17, 2022 - I let it go too long. Drinkable but lost most of its character.
