March 5, 2011 - Still drinking well. Tannins are smooth. Nice nose. Dried blackberry on the palate. Great value

August 13, 2010 - See my 4/26/10 tasting note. 81% Merlot 13% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Cabernet Franc 1% Malbec. I aml amazed that this is predominantly a Merlot blend, because I am not usually a fan of Merlot. But this is really good bottle. Great aromatics, great palate, great finish. It might get better in a year or two, but I would not chance it going south. I wish I had more.

May 12, 2010 - Good cab for the price. Bit more red fruit on the nose and palate.
April 26, 2010 - Dark purple in color, this Bordeaux-style blend's aromas are primarily derived from black fruit and lots of new oak. The flavors are consistent with the nose. It is very nicely balanced on the palate, with medium acidity, tannins, body and length. This wine is drinking very well now, but it might improve with another year or so of aging. Overall, this is a great value.
April 14, 2010 - nothing new to report - still feel this is a solid wine for the money.
March 1, 2010 - not a bad wine - maybe some more time in the bottle will help. had nice texture and good finsih.
