December 10, 2023 - It was served along with other 2005 burgundy wines in my BD dinner, happened to be the most easy one, with tertiary aroma and taste. It could be at its peak to drink up.

August 5, 2023 - I opened it for Andrew’s BD dinner. It showed brownish color, subtle wet forest nose with little sweetness aftertaste (酸梅汤)。

September 11, 2021 - PnP'ed. Perhaps I'm partial towards M. Gaunoux wines... Coming right after the '17 Gangloff Barbarine (which displayed both intensity & elegance), I thought this would pale; But this blew the gates open. A mesmerizing melange of red-cherries, tea-leaves, violets, bits of spices & smoke greeted the nose. The Somm agreed that if blinded, this would no doubt led guesses to Vosne. If the Barbarine were a study in elegance, this was a further step up, adding royalty & aristocracy to it with a backbone lurking beneath that wealth of fruit. Just so delicious, with the bottle finishing in no time. Have no doubt that this will reach new heights with more ageing.
