July 25, 2015 - At P&P nose was heavy on barnyard, which blew off after an hour or so. Accompanied a 5 year old cheddar and pecan smoked bacon grilled cheese on good pumpernickel bread. Great match. Recorked under Argon to save for tasting event in 20 hours. At tasting, fruit was a little faint on the nose but palate feel/taste was very smooth. A 90 on day 2.

November 28, 2013 - Smooth. Nice wood. Fruit managing to hang on 8 years later. Amazing. Gorgeous label. RIP Havens. :-(

May 3, 2012 - For sure past its peak but still drinkable. Very funky nose upon opening but opens up pretty quickly. Dark berry & cherry but somewhat stewed taste, meaty element and some spice. Wish I had not let these bottles sit so long, should have consumed all a year ago or more. Very flabby unfortunately.

April 8, 2012 - Nice nose. Not a lot going on, but decent for a merlot.

November 12, 2011 - Forgot I had this bottle - just average. I wouldn't buy this vintage again - not aging gracefully at this point.
