September 1, 2019 - Way, Way too young to open. Still lots of heat and jammy-ness to this wine without much of a finish. It was still in it's confused state trying to be the wine it wants to become. I'd hold for 3 more years for sure.

July 26, 2019 - This wine is drinking phenomenally right now. Full bodied and very smooth. Enjoyed with BBQ'd beef tenderloin steaks with a coffee spice rub.

July 8, 2019 - Deep dark garnet color. Medium nose consisting of black currant, toast, dried figs, cherries and baking spices. Soft and balanced tannins and acidity. The palate consists of black peppercorns, toast, cassis, licorice, min5 and black cherries. The finish is long, lingering and enjoyable. Should drink well for another 5-7 years.

April 22, 2019 - Deep ruby core with garnet edges. Well rounded nose with quite a bit of dark fruits, black currants, cassis, tobacco, truffles, light baking spices and lavender. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium plus bodied. Layered palate with notes of light baking spices, earthiness, purple flowers, cassis, cigar box and touch of cedar. Long finish. Drink till 2028.
