November 27, 2021 - Drank alongside a magnum of 1999 Affinity. The 2007 was good, but not as good as the 1999. Drank two bottles of the 2007 to see if there was any variation. Was a bit tight upon opening; did open up, but not by much. I still have a few bottles left and will probably give them another couple of years to see how they do.

April 8, 2021 - This exceeded my expectations for this label and indeed was one of the best drinking Affinity's in memory. Mini-vertical tasting alongside 2000.

Dark garnet colored, medium full bodied, elegant, polished and smoothly balanced, black berry and black currant fruits with notes of mocha chocolate and spice, hints of cassis, smoke and cedar with smooth silky tannins on a lingering cloying finish.

March 28, 2021 - Hitting on all cylinders. Mature, sophisticated, luscious Napa Cab at the height of its excellence.

December 24, 2020 - Classic, quality Affinity. Medium ruby in color. Raspberry, cherry, cola with a little earthiness and leather on the finish. Tannins are well integrated consistent with the age of this wine. Full bodied with a medium finish. In my opinion, these older Affinity’s from the days when Bob Craig was alive and involved, are better than the current “estate” Affinity’s being produced.
