    December 25, 2020 - I must have more

Big, rich, full bodied, bursting with ripe plums, eucalypt and tar.

January 26, 2020 - Everything in check. Great colour, nose still fresh. Tannins fine, unbelievably young.....great wine. Has 5 years at this stage drink over the next 10 years.

  • Bacchus&Ceres Likes this wine: 90 points

April 8, 2018 - Deep opaque purple. Long thick slow moving tears. Baking spice, warm earthy caramel, toasted cedar. Rich jammy black fruits full bodied, medium + alcohol & tannin, medium acidity; gripping sticky tar, easy semi-sweet, delicious. Long finish, needs tremendous time to open: this note 24 hours after bottle opened; tight and unyielding, vacuumed for another day. Today another wine altogether; nice to meet you.

June 19, 2017 - This is nice. Cork was perfect. Picked up some cherry coke and a whisper of creosote on the nose. I was expecting a heavy Shiraz, but was surprised at how elagant this held itself. Most if not all of the tannins gone but very surprising at how delicate it was. Loved it.
