Community Tasting Notes 1

February 27, 2013 - Medium garnet color fading to a tawny rim.
Nose is fully developed, quite aromatic with tertiary aromas of damp earth and crushed flowers dominating.
Quite complex and unusual with macerated black fruit and a ferrous note.
Palate is medium bodied, silky textured with low acidity and melted tannins. Fruit is slightly stewed.
    Finish is quite satisfying.
It won't get any better with aging, might have been better a few years ago. Good wine, has complexity especially
on the nose and a beautiful soft texture but fruit is fading and is somewhat stewed.
