April 10, 2013 - Wow. Very interesting wine that drinks like an old world, Bordeaux blend, but with firm tanins, big mouthfeel, a slug of oak, and a good dose of washington state fruit. Served blind I would have guessed $40 to $50 french bordeaux. $23 at WDC makes it one of the top steals of 2013. Back-up the truck.

January 26, 2013 - Nose of minerals and earth, I taste raspberry fruit and charcoal. tannins are prevelant but not overwhelming, nice mouthfeel albeit has a little edge also has a somewhat short finish. Probably could use some more time.
