  May 15, 2017 - What a pleasant surprise. A bit like Hermitage with extra fruit. This bottle was much cleaner than previous bottles, and while not big, it doesn't seem to have faded as much as other CA syrahs sometimes do at similar age. The tannins aren't particularly prominent, but there is sufficient structure not to worry about going longer. The last glass, refrigerated overnight, was drinkable the next day.

  December 19, 2014 - Wow, sitting on this was a wise idea. Paired perfectly with a bison porterhouse steak. Fully integrated, meaty, earthy, brambly dark fruit, firm acids, wowowow.
