July 14, 2011 - BLACK CHERRIES AND SPICE IN THE NOSE WITH BLACKBERRIES AND LICORICE IN THE FLAVOR. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.

October 3, 2010 - There is so much life left in this Grenache, it seems 5 years did nothing to the fruit. Still a bright red fruit Grenche, note of darkr fruit, more complexity than most Grenaches.

September 13, 2010 - 92+ actually, same as when I first tried it at the winery in Nov 2009.

Garnet ruby. Nose is nice spicy raspberry compote, hints of nutmeg. Almost like a mulled wine. Mouth is rich with glycerin, black/red raspberry juice, underripe blackberry juice, tobacco. Finish is bright red raspberry, mouthwatering, refreshing even with a little grip & heat (15.9%). Great stuff.

May 31, 2010 - Powerful raspberry with a liqueurish quality on a lush frame. Vanilla and clove nicely accent the ripe fruit, which shows a bit of heat on the finish. Would recommend a decant as the texture became a lot silkier after a half hour.
