December 29, 2016 - So good! Red cherry fruits with ash tray, spice and mushroom overtones on the nose. Fresh tart red cherries with a dark, smokey component atop fine tannins and crisp acidity. Lip smacking good.

April 26, 2016 - This has gained a little in complexity since the ladt bottle but the tannins remain quite firm. Good now but suspect this is still going to improve.

February 27, 2016 - Really nice after it opened up. Redder flavors at first, with some darker notes emerging in time. Smooth and round on the palate but not flabby, there was good acidity present. Seems to be at or near peak right now.
