May 26, 2018 - This ten-year old wine is a wonder. Completely pale in color and fresh like it was bottle this year. The wine is full of flowers and crisp exotic flavors. There is a slightest hint of sweetness and so gorgeous. A testimony of Hugel’s prowess in the expertise of winemaking. Lovely.l and tasting like it was a very young wine, except better.

July 20, 2014 - Still good, had lost its sweetness and turned into more complex, even somewhat elegant. Positive surprise!

June 7, 2014 - The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and grapefruit. It tastes like pineapple. The body is light. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

November 14, 2013 - A few years in the cellar has been good to this wine. Has lost a little of its freshness but instead it has gained weight and complexity. Now showing more sweet tropical flavors and smoothness but still just enough acidity to keep it in place. We enjoyed this with asian chicken curry and spring rolls. Drink now and within the next 1-2 years.

May 13, 2012 - Beautiful nose - apples, white flowers, melon, a green/grassy component - very fresh, high acidity - rather short finish with minerality and a "soapy" flavour.

June 12, 2011 - no real notes - great wine and enjoyed over 2 nights - 89+ for me; great with food and would be a great house wine. The wife really enjoyed. Nice cross between Alsace Riesling minerality and the sweetness of gewurtztraminer.

May 20, 2011 - Very nice melon taste, good minerality and acidity, a little chalk and honey in the finish. Needed some air to bring out the very good fruit taste. Very good wine with a fair QPR.

May 9, 2011 - This is a tough wine to choke down. Disjointed, a little flabby and sour.

May 1, 2011 - Nice floral, citrus, melons and asian spice with a huge mineral quality common to alsace.. I felt the field mix of gerwurztraminer, pinot gris and reisling seem to bee almost to full of flavors to actually describe. The wine was vibrant with a ripe acidity and became better with some air time. After drinking the mouth seemed to have a clean feeling as the mineraly liquid had somehow removed all remaining bits of food stuff completely away. Great wine for pairing with a H am and Swiss on rye toast.
