December 17, 2013 - Smells of baked earth, burnt fig and other dried fruits steeped in Brandy. It is certainly ripe and weighs in at 13.7% alcohol but it is not hot. The palate is rich and round and there's good intensity of sweet and savoury flavours. With air the wine shows some subtle floral nuance in the form of lavender. A delicious wine at its absolute peak.
