June 21, 2020 - Such an attractive basket of cherries, strawberries, chocolate and baking spices. Too easy to enjoy.

October 19, 2018 - Black cherries, truffles, charcoal. Cleansing acidity, wash of fine tannin. This is nicely lifted yet solidly constructed. In a nice spot, nestled between freshness and complexity. (94 Excellent wine)

    February 26, 2018 - Screw cap. 14% alc.
Heady aromas of intense, sweet black fruit, dried herbs and sous bois. The palate is rich but very elegant. There's a spicy edge to the juicy, mouthwatering palate, supported by a fine tannin structure. Chocolate and tar here too. A lift of heat on the finish.

July 13, 2017 - Young dark cherry, sweet textured palate, silky length. Dark cherry and pomegranate. A bit more acid would lift this to another level. Holds well over 3 days. Good for another 5 years.

March 23, 2015 - Deep blue fruits with a hint of smoke and spice. Initially seems a little heady with overt alcohol, but this soon dissipates. The palate is rich, intense but elegant. There's pinot fruit, chocolate, spice, savoury nuances too. Nice length here. Finishes with a high spirited note. Drink or hold.
