June 20, 2023 - Drinking beautifully with very soft notes of cedar, black currants, cassis, coats the entire pallet, and entire sides of mouth. What a gorgeous wine with 21 years of age could not imagine this at any better time to drink. Makes your mouth salivate for more.

December 6, 2021 - from a magnum...little to no air required. full throttle...awesome. deep blueberries, cherry, subtle strawberries with an electric edge...no tar or tannins...easy to drink, integrated well made modern profile wine.

October 29, 2020 - what a powerful wine, we would never have guessed it be an 02 vintage. Very well balanced , we loved it. The only thing keeping it from be ranked higher for me was it did not have that Wow factor. I would guess it has years more to go, unfortunately my last bottle

May 28, 2020 - PnP. Funny, I liked it when it was released, and 15 years later, after a big palate shift, I still like it. But, I feel that's because it's comfortably mature now, with secondary, and some tertiary nuances that are just lovely. Rich, pure, and elegant in a CA style, of course. Should hold here for years. Better after 1 hr open. recommended

October 15, 2018 - Excellent; much more alive than Lambert's bottle in 2015 but closer to full secondary development. Meaty and earthy.

March 26, 2018 - Excellent, bottle showed no signs of age, color, taste were right there. I would guess wine has years to go. Blind I would guess 2010.

May 11, 2017 - BYO (Enomania): Nice and developed flavors but still with a lot of fruit. It is clearly open for drinking and is very enjoyable now.
Perhaps lacks a little lenght but otherwise a very solid wine.
