April 21, 2010 - This has surprisingly good varietal flavor with cherry and smoke with good acidity. Nose is good as is the wine until the finish where there is something that goes awry that I can't quite describe, maybe too much alcohol? It seems to suck all the good stuff away. The finish issue is not a complete deal breaker but would have rated 89 otherwise.

February 23, 2010 - Really big nose rich with ripe red fruits, damp moss, and light spice. Garnet in color with light rim, very clear. Bold, chewy flavors of mushrooms, red fruits, fig, and cedar. Very complex and well balanced with long finish. Excellent pinot noir, especially for the price!
