February 21, 2015 - Needed decant in and time but then it opened up very nicely. A good mix of berries, spice, vanilla, and cedar.

November 24, 2013 - Not a great wine, but still very enjoyable. Had it with a lam steak which was an excellent match.

November 3, 2013 - Earthy, sweet and gritty. Lots on nose

March 14, 2013 - Nose of dark fruit, oak/wood, and fresh leather. Jammy fruit (black cherry, cassis) and tobacco on the palate. Full-bodied, 'classic' Aussie Shiraz. Drinking well right out of the bottle.

July 2, 2012 - We had two bottles at the Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone, Co (took most of the second home), and both bottles were consistent. This is one of the best Shiraz we have ever had. It was strong on the fruit, wood, earth, with great tannins, great balance and long finish. It is perfect to drink right now. It matched a veal dish and a plum duck dish, along with yummy appetizers and soup. We had previously had a purchased bottle, and these were far superior. Could be how the wine was stored and shipped, and could be that another six months was exactly what this wine needed.
