August 27, 2022 - Lovely lifted ethereal red fruited nose with a note of spice and earth. Similar palate , at least mid weight, at long last the fruit is coming out and balancing the acid. Early in its development but clearly a success in a difficult vintage. Very impressive

July 24, 2021 - Cork looked very good. On opening, this was lean, green and a very mean. Let it breathe for 90 mins via slow ox and wow - what a transformation. Crystalline red fruit came shining through with cranberry, red current and wild strawberries. Blood orange, floral notes, damp earth and Gevery minerality added complexity and interest. Acidity was high but integrated after breathing. Tannins were completely integrated. Lovely now with decent breathing time or let sleep for about 3-5 years.

May 13, 2021 - Drinking splendidly now. Sour cherry, earth, and spice. Tannins are not noticeable.

February 29, 2020 - Needs an hour in the decanter for the fruit to emerge. At first it was all acid and earth, with cherry at the end. Later, dark cherry filled out the palate, with acid in balance.

NOSE: dark, red fruits; medium-light earthy aspect; hint of leather.

BODY: medium-light to medium bodied; a hint of age creeping into the color.

TASTE: medium-high to high acidity; open; weak rear-mid and real palates; juicy red berries; not sweet or tannic. Happy to have opened this now --- it's certainly showing what it currently has to show --- but I do think there's potential for further improvement over the short-to-medium term.
