August 11, 2015 - Rich, thick, black fruit. Long finish with a hint of sweetness but not too much of it. Some spice on the mid-palate. Plum, black cherry, raspberry, blackberry. Full bodied. Tannins seems to be resolved. Drinking nicely now. Drink now-2017.

March 23, 2014 - A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A full bodied and dense Petite Syrah, with black currants, black cherry, chocolate and spiced herbs, stil big and bold but now in a great drinking zone. www.winelx.com

April 24, 2013 - Great, full, dark petite! The nose has a nice blend of dark red fruits. The mouth feel is extremely well rounded and rich with essence of dark fruit mixed with a bit of minerality and a light oak. Incredible finish.

December 29, 2012 - Very dark color, rich dark cherry and cassis, dry. Tannins converted wonderfully. Open, air for 30 minutes, and it's a perfect petite syrah.

October 27, 2012 - Opaque inky color. Notes of red and dark fruit, herbs and blue fruit. The palate follows the bouquet. Nice length and balance. Guessed Syrah.

October 27, 2012 - Enjoyed with spicy stewed chicken. The wine has good blackberries, smokiness, a bit spicy. Not complex; not a $40 bottle.

August 29, 2012 - Agree with the previous tasting note - this wine is certainly entering its peak period. right now it's super smooth. nice flavors of cola, tar, pepper, anise, dark fruits. not a very expressive nose. the flavors are deep and meaty. super long finish - 45+ seconds. round tannins are just mouth filling. it's fine as a 'drink by itself kind' of wine or with food
