August 29, 2014 - This wine was a HUGE surprise. It had been store well since purchase but when we opened it, it looks a bit muddy. Hard to tell as th lightig in the restaurant was lousy. The first pour I knew - the wine was good but need some air. It was very floral when it opened followed immediately by a Nose of damp musty laundry - gym socks. damp weather. As ot opened some of the dark fruit was showing. Dark blueberry pie filling along with secondary flavors - cedar, tar, some graphite. The wine still had a lot of tannin but small workable tannin that just help it up perfectly. I was really impressd nd the chef (my cousin) who I drank it with, also loved it!

May 22, 2005 - The blend was largely of berries that was sweeter than I prefer. Given the price and the lack of complexity in the wine, I would not buy again.
