  May 12, 2010 - I first tried this wine at our local Italian eatery where it was offered as the house wine. I was impressed by the quality for such an extremly low restaurant price. I later located the wine and purchased a case. the case purchase has become a habit. I have consistently rated the wine close to 90 for the last few vintages. It has a deep ruby red color and a pleasant nose with some tannin, which mellows out after the bottle is open for a few minutes. It has a wonderful berry taste with hints of spice, chocolate and vanilla.

  April 15, 2010 - Not much of a nose, dry red fruit. Tastes a bit rough at first and finishes with light tannins.
