November 18, 2012 - Deep ripe cherry and berries and very soft tannins with beautiful floral aromas which opened over the hour. Nice balance and finish. I enjoyed with no decant time but rather letting it open in the glass.

March 21, 2012 - Opens with an exquisite Burgundian nose of leather, earth and floral notes. Beautifully complex and balanced wine, still showing lots of lovely red fruit flavors and earthy notes. Evolved over 3 hours, even picking up some flavors of grilled meat after several hours. We really enjoyed this and were happy to see how well it aged.

July 4, 2011 - This wine is post peak. I'm getting veggie/light rubber tire/asparagus? Broccoli? Hard to describe, other than to say I wish I had been here five years ago. I am reevaluating the whole concept of aging non-Bordeaux wines.
