November 15, 2017 - Black cherry and plum with savory spice. Moderate weight, good length. Started to seem slightly tired/ drying by the end of the bottle.

May 18, 2016 - Black plum and cherry with some savory spice throughout. Slightly sweet start, hen quickly firm and balanced middle to finish. Stupid great value wine at release. very good now, but not a wine to cellar much longer.

April 16, 2015 - Drinking so well right now; fruit still there, pleasant tannic bite on the finish... kind of hate to admit it, but a Garagiste winner at 14 bones

December 16, 2014 - 88/89 with food; a whole lot less interesting without. We ate with cheeseburgers and it was even better than last time. Great medium mouth-weight; soft, palate-coating, medium tannins; good acid; cherries.

December 15, 2014 - Wow this has really become great. Nose of cherries, plum, currant spice, and a hint of chocolate. It had a great mouth feel with notes of currant, plum, herb and a spicy finish. The tannins have rounded out and provides acid to go great with food. Not blow your mind type wind but thoroughly enjoyable given the vintage. Yum!

September 22, 2014 - Drank with a lousy marjoram-laced, tomato-besotted, chicken breast dish. I was grateful to Messrs. Picau et Perna for redeeming my evening somewhat.
