June 12, 2020 - I was blown away by this wine. Rich, gritty, refined and traditional (as opposed to parkerisé) with an exquisite aroma and taste of luxurious Japanese yellow cherries. Long, composed and superbly balanced.

Delicious way beyond Cola Zero ;-)

Discoloration on label and got it at almost no price on auction.

If you love the to-die-for matching of great classic Chianti and tomato based food, this is a mature wine to go to for now and some more years to come. We had PizzaLa pizza and lasagna. *mjuff*

Shitty vintage but awesome wine and exceptional value :-)

February 27, 2009 - Le deuxième était beaucoup mieux conservé que celui pris chez Berto

November 27, 2006 - Very nice wine. Black cherries on the nose with a hint of vanilla. On the pallate, black cherries again, overlayed with anise and maybe a hint of hickory(?) A very enjoyable wine. However, we had it with a beef roast and it certainly did not match well with that!

October 28, 2006 - Opened for Susan's visit. very fruity, black cherries and plums, a hint of anise and vanilla, sage, an interesting and pleasant smell of ceder. A long lingering aftertaste on the sides of the tongue. Overall, a really nice wine. Although drinking well now, I suspect it will continue to improve for two or three more years.

January 11, 2006 - Some recent Italians; 10/1/2005-2/5/2006: Pretty impressive for a regular CC in such a poor year. I think this must have benefited from Flacianello and Sorbo fruit, which I don’t think were produced in 2002. Great weight, powerful nose, bit of oak still to be absorbed, but overall a juicy, fruity package that's one of my fave house wines.
