November 18, 2018 - Dark, inky purple in color, with great aromatics and matching rich flavors of raspberry, wild berry, and black licorice wrapped around delicate tannins. Nicely balanced, with little sign of age, finishing elegantly.

January 23, 2017 - We really enjoyed this. Berry notes are heavy on the nose - blue to black, fairly sweet and jammy. The wine is rich but not at all heavy, very pleasant to drink. Further notes of blackberries, cassis, chocolate and coffee. Very light tannins.
Our experience was pretty consistent with another user's May 13 review below. The wine is drinking well right now with no sign of deterioration, but it's seems pretty clear that the wine is what it is so there's no reason to wait either. Enjoy it! -

May 14, 2014 - opened 30 minutes prior to meal, it opened wonderfully, deep dark color, multiple flavors up front extending through finish. Wine continued to open and develop throughout meal, really very nice.

May 11, 2013 - I must say I enjoyed this immensely, however if you are looking for a northern Rhone styled Syrah, restrained and spice driven then you will not enjoy this wine. It was full Cali styled rich black fruit, opulent with soft tannins and spice notes that were very mild, to say the least. If you are looking for a nice user friendly Cali Syrah then this should fit the bill
